A website is not the deliverable on its own. The system around it is — how someone finds you, what they understand in the first ten seconds, and what happens when they decide to get in touch.
Sites are built against Core Web Vitals and WCAG 2.2 AA. Where a job needs branding, search visibility or software alongside it, those sit next to this one rather than underneath it.
What's included
- DesignLayout, type and structure built around your actual content rather than fitted to a stock page.
- BuildStatic, fast by construction, with no plugin stack to maintain or break on an update.
- AccessibilityBuilt to WCAG 2.2 AA, so the site works for keyboard, screen reader and small screens.
- PerformanceCore Web Vitals treated as the baseline, checked on every build rather than at the end.
- Search foundationsStructured data and on-page fundamentals included, since the structure is the same job.
How it works
- Content firstCopy, images and brand assets are gathered before the build starts. This is what sets the timeline.
- DesignLayout and type decisions follow from what there is to say, page by page.
- Build and testBuilt static, then checked against performance, accessibility and on-page rules automatically.
- LaunchSite goes live with Search Console verified, and the analytics decision left to you.
What it costs
From £1,500 for the brand and the website built together: strategy, identity, guidelines, and the site they run on. Where a site has to run something as well — a booking system, automated admin — that is quoted with the rest of the project. Retainers are priced separately.
Frequently asked questions
- How much does a small business website cost?
From £1,500 for the brand and the website together. What a job costs above that depends on what the site has to do — a booking system or automated admin is more work than a site that has to be found and read. Retainers are priced separately.
- How long does a website take to build?
Four to six weeks. That clock starts when your content and images arrive, not when the project is agreed, because the design gets built around your real content.
- What do I need to have ready before you start?
Copy, images, and any brand assets you already own. If none of that exists yet, sorting it out is the first job — without it the build stalls, or it ships on placeholder text that never gets replaced.
- Do you take payment up front?
A deposit, yes. Either 25% to start, 25% at an agreed midpoint and 50% on completion, or a straight 50% up front and 50% on completion. Which one depends on the project.
- Will the site be fast and accessible on mobile?
Yes. Sites are built against Core Web Vitals and WCAG 2.2 AA as the baseline, so speed and accessibility are part of the build rather than a later upgrade.
- Do you work outside Telford?
Yes. Most of the work happens remotely, and we travel when a job needs a room rather than a call. Telford and Shropshire are where we are, not the limit of where we work.
